Telephone Preference Service

In recent years OFCOM have enabled customers to register their numbers in order not to receive telesales or cold calls. This list of telephone numbers is available to purchase, and some larger companies buy this list and bar outbound calls from their call centres/offices to these numbers for sales purposes. This list changes weekly and the cost of maintaining this database of numbers not to call is very expensive - prohibitively so for a small business. If businesses decide to flout these laws, penalties of up to £5000 per complaint can be imposed. This risk cannot be taken lightly.

We offer a network based telephone preference service that enables you to make outbound calls without worrying about calling a number on the TPS list. Attempting to make a call to a number registered with the list would be barred at network level.
